- Description"Be authentic" . . . "Be unapologetically you" . . . "Just be yourself". The odds you've heard these phrases, or some like them, on different occasions is probably high. No matter where or when you were told this, it's safe to say that it's much easier said than done. Practicing authenticity is a key leadership skill that can make you stand apart and inherently build your confidence. Whether you're new to UNCW or heading into your senior year, it'll always be beneficial to deepen your self-awareness by exploring strategies to practice authenticity. Bravery and vulnerability are required, but you definitely have the courage to own the true you. Join us and we can learn together how to lead with authentic vulnerability and be the leader others want to follow!
