- Nov 7–11Veterans WeekThe Office of Military Affairs invites the campus and community to recognize and celebrate veterans and military-affiliated students with an array of events (Nov. 7-11).The celebration kicks off with a high-impact landing by an elite all-veteran parachute team (All Veteran Group) on Friday, Nov. 7 at 7:45 a.m. on the university’s intramural fields. The parachute jump is a tribute to courage, camaraderie and the enduring spirit of those who have served.Following the parachute landing, The Fitness Expo will feature veteran-themed fitness demonstrations and interactive challenges designed to engage participants of all abilities. All Seahawk family and friends are invited to walk in a parade downtown on Saturday and attend the annual Veterans Day ceremony on Tuesday at the UNCW Amphitheater.The week’s events are open to the public and aim to foster deeper connections between veterans and the broader community.
