- DescriptionJoin us for a relaxing, hands-on activity designed to support your well-being as a future educator. As part of the Mindfulness Moment series, this event gives you the opportunity to create a simple tool you can use in your own mindfulness practice—whether to calm your mind, focus your attention, or simply take a break from the busyness of college life.
Participants will be able to make one mindfulness item for themselves and one to be shared with a local classroom—spreading the benefits of mindfulness beyond campus.
Research shows mindfulness can help reduce stress, improve focus, and promote emotional balance—skills that benefit both you and your future students.
