How to Lead When You're Not in Charge: Strategies for Combatting Imposter Syndrome

Wednesday, November 19, 2025 5:00–6:00 PM
  • Location
Azalea Coast Room, Fisher University Union
  • Description
College can feel like a constant game of “Do I really belong here?” Spoiler: You do. Maybe you're in a certain class or student organization where you want to share your thoughts, but feel as if your opinion isn't as "good" as someone else's. We've all had experiences where we feel inferior—we're human and it's normal to feel that. This phenomenon is commonly known as "imposter syndrome", and it's an experience no one is immune to. Learning how to combat imposter syndrome requires working through it, which we can do through exploring our unique leadership approach. Join us for a workshop that'll offer strategies about imposter syndrome, so you can stop feeling like a fraud and start feeling like a force. Come for the validation, stay for the empowerment.
