- Sep 2210:00 AMCancelled: QPR WorkshopThe Counseling Center will be hosting a QPR Workshop on Monday, September 22nd, 2025, from 10am-12pm. Learn QPR Suicide Prevention and become QPR Gatekeeper certified. The training on this date is open to faculty, staff, and students. If you've ever wondered what to say to a friend in distress or other person that you were worried about, this may be the workshop for you. The QPR workshop will teach you how to approach a person in distress, how to talk to them, and how to get them help. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate and be a Certified QPR Gatekeeper. If you would like to attend the training on Monday, September 22nd, 2025, from 10am-12pm, please include your name and email address at the link provided. Please note, seating is limited, and a reservation is required. Because we have minimum and maximum registration requirements, a confirmation email will be sent approximately one week prior to the event confirming it is taking place and including the location details.
