New Alumni Tradition: Weekend in Wilmington

Basking in the summer sun and indulging in the endless wonders of Wilmington, alumni, families and friends gathered at the Dub for the inaugural Weekend in Wilmington, June 21-23. Featuring events from campus to coast, attendees explored new campus spaces and local alumni-owned businesses, celebrated the Distinguished Alumni Award honorees, volunteered for an Alumni Beach Sweep and brunched oceanside.

The new Pints with Professors event series may be coming to a city near you! Alumni and friends are invited to kick back, relax and enjoy an evening with your fellow Seahawks. Every event is hosted in a different North Carolina region, features a different academic area and emphasis, and provides an exciting opportunity to meet and greet with professors, explore student and faculty research, and learn more about UNCW’s many academic advances and global impacts.
